Amber along with her husband Jordan own and operate the restaurant Strait Goods in Fortune, PEI.
Amber grew up in the country and it goes without saying a combination of entrepreneurial upbringing and family oriented hard work led her to becoming a business owner herself. Her first pay cheque was issued from Bluefin Restaurant at the age of 14 and she went on to purchased the Bluefin Restaurant in 2017.

Simonne was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 50. After treatment a breast cancer survivor may need to decide what prosthesis to wear to get back to "feeling like themselves". For Simonne it was hard to find the right prosthesis that filled her needs. She researched various natural animals and plant-based fibers to find what properties when wanted in a breast prosthesis.
She solved that problem for herself, she knew she was onto something; and that is how Comfort 'n' Confidence by Au Naturel came to be.
